A great old beer. Big imperial stout, pours chocolate black with no head. Chocolate, vanilla, and berries. I feel honored that I had this one. This is a special beer, that sadly, will not be tasted again. (July 2012)

Bottle. Black with tan head. Big licorice, chocolate and molasses aroma. Taste has lots of chocolate and licorice, light woodiness and some dark fruits . Sweet with a clean finish. Very nice

In bottle at Craig’s. Pours a very dark brown colour with a thin, light tan head. Aroma of oak, chocolate, soy sauce and alcohol. Similar flavours with lingering coconut, chocolate and rum and raisin chocolate. Mild carbonation an oily mouth-feel. Very nice.

33 cl bottle. Pours ĺitch black with a fully gone head. Aroma is smooth fruity, dark roasted malty and chocolate. Sweet, chocolate, lingering dark malty and smooth whiskey. Sweet, dense malty and lingering chocolate. Warming finish. Smooth.

Poured oily deep brown, so black with a small lacing beige head that went away fast. Very rich aroma with caramel, cherries, raisins, dry burnt wood in the finish. And some black tobacco. Fruits and cocoa. Lively chaos, fantastic beer!

Lelke van ennek a mélyfekete, sűrű, olajosan folyó italnak, biz isten! Olyan rendezett káosz van benne, amit napokig lehet boncolgatni, már ha emlékszik még rá az ember! Ez egy olyan sör, amiben tényleg érezni egy kis húsos aromát, dohányt, sót, kormos füstöt, kék sajtot, meggybort, öreg tölgyes barriqoet , túlérett cseresznyét, öreg whiskeyt, munkás zoknit és még ki tudja mi mindent. Minden korty egy újabb meglepetés! Hetente eltudnék nyalogatni belőle egy egy üveggel, de mégsem tudnám megfejteni a titkát! Beszarás!

ChrisOs Marvellous Pre GBBF Mega Tasting. Very dark brown opaque beer, little pale tan head. Smooth palate. Sweet tangy dark malts, rich fruits - plum and others. A little alcohol spice. A little woody whisky sourness. Finishes smooth. Very tasty.

Bottle at Chriso’s 2012 Pre-GBBF Shindig, London. Black-brown pour with a fine tan foam head. Dark malt nose, dark sugars, faint tangy dark fruits present. Big sweet flavor, lots of brown sugar, dark sugar, a bit of alcohol, moderate earth. Full bodied with fine, chewy carbonation. Warming finish with tons of brown sugar, dark demerara sugar, heavy bread. Quite a rich and tasty beer. Nice one.

Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, wood, alcohol, light smoke. peat notes. Flavour is heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, alcohol - whisky, sweet malt, raisin, brown sugar sweet - syrup, sweet alcohol. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light to moderate alcoholic. [20120804]
