Intergalactic Fantastic Oak Aged Stout
The irony of existentialism, the parody of being and the inherent contradictions of post-modernism, all so delicately conveyed by the blocky, pixelated arcade action have all been painstakingly recreated in this bottles contents.

This imperial stout is brewed with copious amounts of speciality malts, jasmine and cranberries. After fermentation we then dry-hop this killer stout with a bucketload of our favourite hops before carefully ageing the beer on French toasted oak chips.

It is all about moderation. Everything in moderation, including moderation itself. What logically follows is that you must, from time, have excess. This beer is for those times.

Deep brown, faint tan head. Toasted malts and black roasted olive aroma. Complex liquorous sweetness, well balanced by the right bitterness. Toastiness is not exaggerated, well hidden as the alcohol. Full bodied, thin carbonation, persistent mouthfeel.

Satyroneto (219) - BRAZIL - JUN 13, 2015

330 mL.bottle. Five or six years old. Lost a bit of carbonation, but aged nicely. No head. Can taste cranberries and a bit of oak, and there is still a touch of booze.

Draught. Pours pitch black with a moderately lasting beige head. Aroma of chocolate, vanilla, dark fruits, a bit rubbery. Taste is of chocolate, liquorice, dark fruits, strong notes of alcohol on the finish. Oily sticky mouthfeel, medium carbonation. Alcohol a bit too noticeable here.

Sublirony (41) - SINGAPORE - JUN 1, 2015
Bottle, Systembolaget Lund. Black black black with the faintest reddish tinge. A surprisingly big head, though it recedes quickly. Man, this beer is alive! On the nose wafts of vanilla, spices, dried figs: imperial stout stuff. Yet it's all surprisingly (that word again) restrained. The palate is hefty, as you would expect, but the viscousness makes it (promise won't use that word again) so easy to drink. Oh boy, beware that 16.5% ... Truly top dog stuff. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This beer is so black and flat you could mistake it for vinegar. I say that in a good way. This beer had full flavor and at 18.2% watch your butt! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
