Pours a black liquid with a small brown head. Aroma is strong licorice, some alcohol, dried dark fruit. Taste is beyond sweet, with alot of different flavours. The same things that was in the nose, reappears here. Chocolate, roasty, alcohol, raisin, smoke. Really complex and sweet, which is pretty much how I like my stout.

Fenomenale!

11.2 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Let’s just start by saying Wow... poured cola like black, nice brown tan head an a lot of lacing. Aroma definitely oak and booze and quite strong some malts too (but very slightly). Taste is however very sweet and nicely balanced, roasted malts, very complex and definitely a sipper but very nice over all, this one is quite enjoyable.

[On-tap at The Friendly Spot] I wasn’t going to pay the high price for this beer, but the person I was with did, so I tried some of his. After having tried it, I am extremely glad I didn’t order it. An odd solvent-like (similar to acetone, but slightly different) aroma is very prevalent when cold, but it faded as it warmed. Other than that, this beer is completely dominated by raisin, molasses, and alcohol. A little green pepper, chocolate, and day-old coffee were also in there. Good, thick mouthfeel with a long finish (more chocolate here). What a sweet, boozy mess. Incredible that this is rated so highly, because I found it to be a nearly undrinkable trainwreck.
