Intergalactic Fantastic Oak Aged Stout
The irony of existentialism, the parody of being and the inherent contradictions of post-modernism, all so delicately conveyed by the blocky, pixelated arcade action have all been painstakingly recreated in this bottles contents.

This imperial stout is brewed with copious amounts of speciality malts, jasmine and cranberries. After fermentation we then dry-hop this killer stout with a bucketload of our favourite hops before carefully ageing the beer on French toasted oak chips.

It is all about moderation. Everything in moderation, including moderation itself. What logically follows is that you must, from time, have excess. This beer is for those times.

Svart farge med lys brunt skum. Lukter kaffe sjokolade, salt, fruktig og alkoholdunst. Får veldig sherryfeeling i smaken. Kjenner godt alkoholvarme.

Varm! Lite kullsyre, søt ettersmak.

Poured into a snifter. Appearance- very very dark brown, muddy, almost black, thin film of a beige, bubbly head which fades to leave a slight covering. Aroma- full and intense, roasty, stouty, bitter chocolate, cocoa, syrup, sugary sweetness is detectable, leather, tobacco hints, tar, booze. Taste- full, thick, chewy and syrupy mouthfeel- one of the thickest I’ve had. Quite a lot of sweetness, almost to the point of being cloying. A bit like chewing on burnt caramel- lots and lots of brown sugar, molasses, roasty bitter finish, hint of dark chocolate, booze- which is hidden to an extent- you know it’s strong but you wouldn’t guess 18.2%. Coats the mouth, a bit oily. Very nice, but the sweetness is a bit too dominant to make it amazing.

11.2 oz bottle labeled Tokio*. Black in color and thick with a small brown head. Aroma is of roasted malts, booze, bitter florals, soy sauce, and molasses. Taste is of booze, 80% dark chocolate, molasses, prune, berry, cherry, some soy sauce, vinous, and more booze. I would like to have tried the 12.5% version, because the beer is interesting and there are good flavors there, but it is a tad too boozy.

Pours with absolute black color, no head at all! Aroma is medium malty, notes of caramel, milk chocolate, and soft notes of licorice; softly hoppy, medium alcoholic feeling. Taste is med to heavy sweet, softly bitter, softly sour, extremely good. Medium to full body, creamy texture, soft carbonation, alcoholic warm sweet finish.

At a beer bar in Columbia,SC with my wife celebrating our 4 year anniversary. Saw this on the menu and my wife seeing how intrigued I was by it encouraged me to purchase. Very kind gesture but she always over estimates my tolerance. My night began and pretty much ended with this beer. Well I blame it on this beer but followed this beer with several oyster shooters that may have contributed to the worst morning after in a long time. Luckily it was spent waking up early to have a big family portrait picture made so the night will be forever remembered by the picture hanging on my parents wall with my sweaty pale green face while struggling to muster up a grin. Oh the beer was potent and tough to drink without hitting the gag reflex a little. In other words I liked it.

Faaaaaantastisk! Helt jävla underbar. Maltig med tydliga ekfatstoner och en underbar beska. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
