this bottle has been in my cellar for 1 year. pours black with small frizzy head. Aromas of figs, dades, brown sugar, alcohol, oak Almost sticky taste from the high alcohol level. Round, extermely sweet and a slight bitter and oaky ending. Texture is oily, quite thin and watery. A lot of sugar left in my mouth... Why do I have yet another one in my cellar

Bottle from Systembolaget. Dark black, small tan head.Molasses, roasted malt, dark fruit, cherries and alcoholic aroma. A lingering sweetness dominates the taste and finishes off with a smokey roasted bitterness. A bit too rich and sweet for my preferences.

Pure black,dark mahogany to the light.Opaque body.Thick foam,ligth beige in color.Dense & close.Glue lacing.Brandy,resin & woody aromas.Brandy flavor & incredible sweet palate.Dark fruit,molasses & toasted coffee in the middle.Viscosity can be chewed it up.Fruity flavor,coffee hints on the aftertaste while hops remain under the pillow.ABV?? Well you´d better have just one half while sharing the other have to your buddy or...Tokio´s gonna kick your head, I tell ´ja.

This was a beer that I was really looking forward to but didn’t quite meet my expectations. The aroma was quite nice, smoky with licorice and alcohol. The beer pours a dark black with little head even with a relatively aggressive pour. It has a smoky sweet taste with a strong licorice presence. Very little carbonation and heavy mouth feel. I found it difficult to drink a whole bottle and would have been more enjoying had I broken it into 2 or 3 different sessions.

Bottle. Aroma of tobacco, oak. Dark brown head. Dark beer. Extremely sweet and rich flavour.

Bottle. very dark brown with small beige head. Flavour is roasted malts, oak, chocolate, sweet, tobacco and warming.

Bottle traded from Meilby. Medium head with medium duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are wood, roast malt, tobacco, coffee and chocolate.

Bottle. Frothy lightbrown fair mostly deminishing head. Black colour. Moderate hoppy and malty aroma. Moderate bitter flavor dominated by tobacco and wood. Average moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate.

Thanks to Bosse for this one. Batch 1, 330ml bottle into a tulip. The beer pours a dark black, a medium tan head that only rises about a finger and falls super quick, light to no lacing...The aroma is super strong, tons of vanilla, bourbon and oak on the front, light roasted smokey coffee finish...The taste is a bit of disappointment after the aroma, I was hoping for the explosion of flavors. Mostly you get some light coffee, but none of the sweetness, none of the vanilla or bourbon remains. Slight alcohol bourbon finish, but so sad...The feel is super light, very watery...Easy to drink but nothing special, can finish half a bottle easily. This beer is decent, but such a let down after a promising start. not enough flavor to seek this out.
