COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This imperial stout is brewed with copious amounts of specialty malts, jasmine and cranberries. After fermentation we then dry hopped it with a bucketload of our favourite hops before carefully aging the beer on French toasted oak chips.

For me this wis one of the most mental beers I’v ever seen. It was on the news for being like the mentalist beer in the world and I bought it off ther websit. I was very expensive and my kids are not going to the zoo this wkend becuause i am skint. The beer wis like thick and chocloate and unbelievable. I wish I was amillionaire so I could fucking die on this. Best of the Dogs this is fucking serious my friend.

Impenetrable black with tan foam. Persistent, micro fine carbonation. An astonishing nose. Abundant prune, coffee, date, mixed peel, curry powder, spice, polished boards, malt, bacon fat. The flavour profile of this beer is simply astounding. All the flavours offered by the nose, plus an awful lot more, wrapped in an obese, yet glossy texture. It’s a simply mind-bogglingly good product. Extraordinary length, depth and persistence. Probably the best beer in the history of beer.

This was amazing. Many thanks to Craig for sending over a bottle. Pitch black with a faint black head. The usual suspects for an impy in both the aroma and flavor, but the cranberries provided a nice tartness that did not overwhelm the faint jasmine character. A dry mouth feel with a little hoppiness. Fantastic.

Bottle from Website: Bought 3 bottles from Website after press attention. I was startled by this. Aroma, intense chocolate and dark ripe fruit, sherry taste. deep chocolate, fruit tartness, malt sweetness and a complimentary bitterness, velvety and low carbonation Lingering chocolate and even vanilla too. Beuatiful if rather strong brew.

Bottle/12oz - Pours a very dark black/brown in color with no head and almost no carbonation. Aroma... dark roasted malts, oak/vanilla, chocolate, sweet herbs, sweet malts and plenty of red fruit... awesome. Palate is quite thick and smooth on the tongue. Flavor is medium sweet with lots of fruit... cherries and cranberries (!) mostly... lovely. Lingering dark roasted malts, cranberry tart/bitter and a decent amount of chocolate. Alcohol, in spite of its incredible strength, is well muted and offset by the other strong flavors of the beer. This is a masterful and awesome beer... one of the most enjoyable, if not strongest, I have had for a very long time!! Truly an amazing/excellent beer...

A Mes rate: Bottle at the Tom’s awesome Twickenham Brewery tasting.
Black as night, thick and viscous and an excellent tight tan head. Glorious condition. Vanilla, juniper, more vanilla, brown sugar and some excellent peated malt. Lovely lavender notes. The oak chips really show through but are never over powering. Stunning roasted chocolate malt and massively fruity. I can’t really detect the cranberries, just a barrage of every berry you can imagine. Outstanding spicy and bitter finish where the dry hopping really does its thing. An absolute cracker of a beer. BrewDog have excelled themselves here and that’s really saying something. Tried this twice and it’s a real shame that it’s quite possible I will not ever get the chance again. Incredible stuff. Massive thanks to Crazy Dave.

Bottle. Pretty special. Aroma his dark chocolate, mocha, alcohol, with sme light spice (from the Jasmine i guess). palate is rich and warming, and the alcohol is noticeable, but quite smooth and complimentary to the beer. Slightly tarry mouth feel, but smooth and rounded, with some nice licoricey bitterness and then some subtle spice. I thought this was very impressive.
