Bottled. A hazy dark golden beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of straw and hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and a bit of fruit, leading to a dry finish.

_angst_ (993) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - APR 18, 2012
330 ml bottle bought @ Ica Focus. Pours clear golden with a fizzy white head that quickly dissipates while leaving some trace on the glass. Smell is sweet with cereal, caramel, grapefruit juice, green grapes, orange zest and hints of grass and yeasty dough. Taste is sweet, bitter and metallic with caramel, lemon peal, orange zest, grass, bread and hints of grape zest and pine. Mouthfeel is crisp, slightly watery and light to medium bodied. Finish is slightly sweet, slightly bitter and tiny sour with cereal, citrus zest, yeast and bread. Tastes too much of yeasty bread but still it’s another rather nice low alcohol beer.

Very good for such a low alcohol brew. Very hoppy, lots of grassy, floral and citric notes in taste and smell. Quite some bitterness in the finnish.

Riktigt gott.

The usual supermarket beer selections in Sweden are about what you would expect ... in Afghanistan. Despite its petulant pouting and pissant posing ("A titillating, neurotic, peroxide, punk* of a pale ale.") Trashy Blonde (3.4%) can really carry the mail! Thank you BrewDog for lowering your (alcohol) standards and thank you HemKöp and Coop for carrying it! And ICA with your miserable pathetic beer selection? Eat chain! * Punky oh Punky! Give me your lips to die on! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2dgx5oDk27U
