"You know you shouldn’t."
Ingredients: Maris Otter, Caramalt and Munich Malt; Motoeka (Belgian Saaz) and Amarillo hops.
A titillating, neurotic, peroxide, punk of a pale ale. Combining attitude, style substance and a little bit of low self esteem for good measure; what would your mother say?
The seductive lure of the sassy passion fruit hop proves too much to resist. All that is even before we get onto the fact that there are no additives preservatives, pasteurization or strings attached. All wrapped up with the customary Brewdog bite and imaginative twist.

Strong, sweet doughy aroma. Clear golden ale with foamy head which quickly disappears. Slightly sweet, sharp citrus fruit taste. Medium body, oily texture with fizzy carbonation. Bitter aftertaste. Good for bottled beer. Would prefer 500ml size.

fruity , flowery and sweet aroma, a little dry too. clear yellow, smooth white head, lots of lacings. flavor is nicely dry hoppy, yet still interestingly flowery and a little citrussy. grapefruit and pine also in the mix. quenching with a good balance between bitter and sweeter flavors, tilted a lot towards the grapefruity bitter.

Cask - The Flower Pot, Maidstone. Clear golden yellow with a lasting one finger white head that leaves a full lacing. Grassy, floral & lemon, grapefruit hop aromas. Lighter notes of grapefruit on the tongue with a pithy lemon quality and a bit of pepper in there. Quite a relaxed bitterness but crisp with a soft mouthfeel.

Very cloudy orange coloured body with a golden tint and an almost non-existant white head. Aroma of oranges, alcohol, malt, grapefruits, coriander seed and a touch of nice caster sugar. Light-bodied; Sharp metallic and apricot flavours throughout with a oldish, funky cardboardie malt taste and a light fruity taste. Aftertaste is fairly mild, only fruit and malt comes through. Overall, a pretty mild beer, with potent tastes as soon as you sip - but could be stronger when sampled fresh. I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased from the Utobeer Market Stall in London (Borough), England on 29-November-2008, sampled at home in Washington during Snowmageddon #2 on 10-February-2010.

330ml bottle. Hazy golden pour with almost no head at all. Nose of honey malts with soft fruity hops (passionfruit, grapefruits, oranges). Tastes bittersweet with a citric acid dry and bitter finish. Light-medium body with average carbonation. Sessionable, Nice.

330ml bottle. Pours the colour of passionfruit pulp with a moderate white head. Sweet passionfruit aromas match the colour. Metallic acidy aftertaste with a muddy finish. Another BrewDog twist.

Cloudy golden with a lasting white head. Aroma is fruity, with a grassy touch and a hint of pepper. Dry and hoppy flavour with a wooden note to the hops. Bitter finish

UPDATED: JUN 2, 2010 Bottle. Pours pale yellow with a medium white head. Honeyish malt on the nose with light citrusy hops. The flavour is honeyish malt and citrus. Low bitterness and fades away in the finish. Freshness is a factor and I’d say it hasn’t made the journey well. It’s good enough for these crazy hot days in Brissie but that’s as far as it goes.

Bottle. Very pale gold, smallish off-white head. Assertive spice/ resin/ grapefruit (rather than passionfruit) aroma. Leafy and resinous palate. There’s a little malt in the background, but just enough to avoid it being harsh. Seville orange marmalade finish.

Bootles. Pours a sparkling bright orange with smallish slightly offwhite head. Wonderful aromas of caramel, honey and cirus, mainly grapefruit, hops. Noese is great. Unfortunately flavours dont quite live up to to the nose. Some malt sweetness followed by heaps of grapefruit like bitterness. Quite lively mouthfeel.
