"You know you shouldn’t."
Ingredients: Maris Otter, Caramalt and Munich Malt; Motoeka (Belgian Saaz) and Amarillo hops.
A titillating, neurotic, peroxide, punk of a pale ale. Combining attitude, style substance and a little bit of low self esteem for good measure; what would your mother say?
The seductive lure of the sassy passion fruit hop proves too much to resist. All that is even before we get onto the fact that there are no additives preservatives, pasteurization or strings attached. All wrapped up with the customary Brewdog bite and imaginative twist.

UPDATED: NOV 25, 2010 April, 2010 JDW Sping fest - Rochester. Pale malt producing a sweetish golden ale. Amarillo hops producing citric fruits flavours with an edge of chocolate and Scottish porridge. Hops are a tad too assertive for my personal taste, and the malt not quite doing enough. But pleasant enough. [3.1]
Nov, 2010 330ml bottle - filtered. Bland pale malt without character. Firm, assertive bitter hops. It’s drinkable, though I would prefer more character overall, less aggression and more flavour and aroma from the hops, and the malt to be doing more than blandly and cleanly supporting the hops. My awesome wife got me this one from punkdog.com with a personalized birthday label on it! Pours with a decent, white head that fades back into a nice pillow on top of the pale gold liquid and leaves extensive lacing. Nose is not to prominent, but has pale malt and a bit of piney, citrusy hoppiness. In the mouth is more full flavored, with a good amount of tangy citrus and pitted fruit bitterness well balanced by pale malt sweetness and with piney hops on the swallow. Crisp and refreshing, this one is extremely drinkable.

Linnet (1122) - Karlstad, SWEDEN - APR 3, 2010
Appearance: Thick creamy medium white head, lacing. Amber body. Aroma: Aroma is frightenly similar to macro lagers, but some fruity hoppiness saves the day. Flavour: Much better than the aroma lets on, fruity, blackcurrant, passion fruit and resinous and a pronounced bitterness, very pleasant! Mouthfeel: For a beer with as low an ABV as this it still has enough body to balance the bitterness, it is crisp and lively yet smooth. Total: Well down Brewdog, will be several of this tasty beer this summer!

From the looks, yellow with a white head, you could easily mistake this one for a dull lager. It’s not. The aroma is full of elegant and pleasant passionfruity hop aromas. There are also some more light fruitiness in it. Decent bitterness that is in good balance with the rest of the beer. The carbonation is soft and the beer is overall elegant.

Fun mild. Obtained from the brewery itself. Pours blond with nice foamy white head. The aroma, I agree, was buttery. The taste was a good hoppiness, a bit below average mouthfeel. But very drinkable.
