COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle and keg, occasional
previously available cask conditioned
"You know you shouldn’t."
Ingredients: Maris Otter, Caramalt and Munich Malt; Motoeka (Belgian Saaz) and Amarillo hops.
A titillating, neurotic, peroxide, punk of a pale ale. Combining attitude, style substance and a little bit of low self esteem for good measure; what would your mother say?
The seductive lure of the sassy passion fruit hop proves too much to resist. All that is even before we get onto the fact that there are no additives preservatives, pasteurization or strings attached. All wrapped up with the customary Brewdog bite and imaginative twist.

Marsiblursi (3045) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAY 20, 2010
(Bottle) Pours hazy yellow to pale golden with a medium, white head. The aroma is of lemon, roses and orange from the hops alongside some cracker and bread-like malt. Maybe some Amarillo hops? Undertones of honey, vanilla, tart apricot, pear, tart strawberries earth, herbs and mild bread spices. Whisper of wet dog, wet cardboard and milk. The flavour is light sweet and light to medium bitter and tiny acidic. Tones of citrus, bread, roses and tart fruits. Resinous and grapefruity in the finish. Quite aggressive afterbitterness. The mouthfeel is watery and fairly clean with a light tea-like astringent touch. Medium carbonation. Light (to medium) bodied.

First off, one correction. Not sure if it was brewdog or a user that posted the description but Motoeka is a New Zealand Saaz variant of a Belgian Saaz. Fantastic hop, Anyways back to the rate. Pours a light gold with a lace inducing white head. Nose is light citrus and a little pine. Flavor is soft bitterness up front with a hint of caramel malt and slight bread. Lingering citrus bitterness. Decent bitter.

07-MAY-2010, @Beerfestival.dk. Not all that blonde... It is more like a light weight malty IPA. I really like this.
