"You know you shouldn’t."
Ingredients: Maris Otter, Caramalt and Munich Malt; Motoeka (Belgian Saaz) and Amarillo hops.
A titillating, neurotic, peroxide, punk of a pale ale. Combining attitude, style substance and a little bit of low self esteem for good measure; what would your mother say?
The seductive lure of the sassy passion fruit hop proves too much to resist. All that is even before we get onto the fact that there are no additives preservatives, pasteurization or strings attached. All wrapped up with the customary Brewdog bite and imaginative twist.

ClubGonzo (4615) - Bergen, NORWAY - MAY 28, 2010
Pours a hazy golden body with a medium white top. Smell is floral hops and grass, with hints of pepper. Taste is floral hoppy bitterness with hints of spruce, grapefruit and light malts to balance. Long, bitter finish. Crisp and dry. For a beer of this caliber - a light blonde ale / bitter - Trashy Blonde packs a right decent punch. Good, though not fantastic. Props for the excellent combination of flavorfullness and drinkability.

Miksu (5027) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - MAY 28, 2010
0.33 l bottle at Vihreä Haltiatar, Jyväskylä. Copper to golden color. Firm lemony, herbal, peppery and slightly sweaty hop aroma. The flavor is dominated by strong hard fruity bitterness with lemon, tropical fruits and some biscuity maltiness in the background. Sharp carbonation. Bitterness is too rough and hard but this went down fairly well after bicycling in hot weather.

UPDATED: APR 11, 2011 Excellent modern interpretation of a golden ale. Color is dark yellow, not really amber. Medium long fantastic white head. Aroma is strongly fruity (pineapple and orange/grapefruit), grass and a bit of honey. Light sweetness taste with fantastic strong bitter end. Medium-long mouthfeel, astringent, medium body, soft carbonation. It’s true that this is a perfect beer for huge drinking.

(Bottle) Pours hazy yellow to pale golden with a medium, white head. The aroma is of lemon, roses and orange from the hops alongside some cracker and bread-like malt. Maybe some Amarillo hops? Undertones of honey, vanilla, tart apricot, pear, tart strawberries earth, herbs and mild bread spices. Whisper of wet dog, wet cardboard and milk. The flavour is light sweet and light to medium bitter and tiny acidic. Tones of citrus, bread, roses and tart fruits. Resinous and grapefruity in the finish. Quite aggressive afterbitterness. The mouthfeel is watery and fairly clean with a light tea-like astringent touch. Medium carbonation. Light (to medium) bodied.
