Excellent blond nose with plenty of grapefruit and hops, a hint of nutmeg and the tiniest bit of banana. Pours slightly cloudy orange. The flavour again is excellent - more grapefruit and citrus with a big fat bitterness from the start that develops into a real bite in the finish. The only thing that lets it down is that it borders on too bitter, and could use a bit more of the sweet malt coming through. All told, a great blond.

Jan 1, 2010 33cl bottle from the brewery. Batch 466. Best before 2010-12-15. It poured a pale orange colour with a medium big white foamy head that settled down slowly in the glass. Some carbonation. Aroma is a bit hoppy, some tropical fruits. Not too shabby. The flavour is bitter and hoppy as well. A reccurring theme with BrewDog. Notes of grapefruit, citrus and grass. Lingering aftertaste.

Dec 31, 2009 Updated: Jan 3, 2010Infected. Probably shouldn’t rate, but if brewdog are gonna release beers in this condition then I think it only fair. Thanks to Nate I was able to identify diacetyl and it was terrible. Three of us couldn’t finish one bottle. Another clunker from this brewery.

Dec 24, 2009 Darkish straw in colour with small head. Fresh hop aroma of tropical fruits with some light clean malt aroma too. Medium bodied with good malt/hop balance, medium bitterness, finishes slightly salty. An easyd rinking style pale ale more like a lager in texture and body, but enjoyable all the same.

Dec 23, 2009 Butterscotch aroma, light amber pour with white head. Aroma could be a result of a long ship to Oz but that is the aroma. Flavour is a mix of tropical fruit that finishes with an assertive bitter finish. Does a remarkable job with only 4.1% abv

Dec 4, 2009 [330ml bottle, gift from my wife - thankyou!] Pours orangey-gold with a thin white head. Slight fizz. Fresh hop and tropical fruit aroma with some maltiness behind. Big hit of grapefruit bitterness on first taste, before tropical fruit and candied lemon peel flavours start to come through. Bitterness dominates, with pine emerging in the aftertaste. Good stuff, but like Punk it’s just a nadge too bitter for me.

Dec 4, 2009 Bottle @ HJ Hansen, Odense. Pours clear golden with a small creamy off white bubbly head and lacings. Nose is floral hops and a bit of buiscuit. Flavor has tropical fruity hops with some malty buiscuit. Very bitter, dry and crisp. Smooth and very drinakble.

Dec 2, 2009 33cl from Ølbutikken, Copenhagen. Clear and filtered pale yellow pour with a thin sporadious white head. Rather fruity aroma with some hops malt. I smell somthink like apricots, citric fruits and walnuts. The taste is light with a watery palate. There is way more taste in Brewdogs Nanny Staty that holds 1,1 % alcohol than in this - a bit disappointing. There is a cleay light bitter and hoppy profile with metallic undertones. Bitter and watery in the finish. The best thing to be said is that it is easely drinakable..and thats not a bad thing.
