COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle and keg, occasional
previously available cask conditioned
"You know you shouldn’t."
Ingredients: Maris Otter, Caramalt and Munich Malt; Motoeka (Belgian Saaz) and Amarillo hops.
A titillating, neurotic, peroxide, punk of a pale ale. Combining attitude, style substance and a little bit of low self esteem for good measure; what would your mother say?
The seductive lure of the sassy passion fruit hop proves too much to resist. All that is even before we get onto the fact that there are no additives preservatives, pasteurization or strings attached. All wrapped up with the customary Brewdog bite and imaginative twist.

Pours a hazy amber color with a small disappearing white head. Lovely citrus aroma. Taste of metal with a bitter hoppiness. Lingering bitterness at the back of the tongue. Decent.

Bottle, 0.33l. Clear pale golden color with medium creamy white head and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of citrus, passion fruit and caramel. Taste starts with moderate sweet caramel and biscuit malt, follows refreshing fruity with light herbal bitter finish. Medium body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. Pretty boring for BewDog, but still palatable and sessionable...

Bottle, 33cL. Home. A dark pink mahogany beer with orange hues at the bottom of my glass ; big white lasting head ; some yeast sediments ; good lacing. Fruity < acid aroma (red berries, elderberry?, blackcurrant), herbs. Medium sweet, medium lasting "spoiling" acid, light bitter. Light sweet, thin silky texture, high carbonation, sweet-acid finish. Overall, not my thing : deceiving, definetely fruity but light, acid. I will have to taste this one again.

Pours a fairly clear golden color, topped with medium white head. Malty aroma with some very mild fruity and grassy notes. Malty and sweet at first, followed by a bittery and slightly herbal finish. Mild and easily drinkable.

330ml bottle from Beer Station, Xiamen. Pours hazy golden with a thin white head. Fruity aroma with an unpleasant overtone. Bitter finish. Dear me, what has happened to this beer? Used to be one of my favourites in cask and even the bottles were good. Major disappointment.

Hopmaestro (194) - Örebro, SWEDEN - NOV 3, 2014
Nothing really wrong with this one, but nothing really great either. Pretty boring aroma with laidback fruityness and malts. The taste lingers on the lower side of hops and theres a pretty thin malty backbone. Mid-bitter ending.

Simple enough. Plenty of citrus and grassy notes from the hops. Mild carbonation. Neither sweet nor overly bitter. Not sure I’d call it a pale ale - somewhere between a lager and a saison for me.

330ml bottle from Brewdog online store. Clear pale yellow straw colour, white foam head leaving lacing and hoppy fruity aroma. Malty taste with citrus zest, hoppy notes, dry bitterness, Light bodied, watery mouth feel, soft carbonation, and a sweetish strawy lingering bitter finish. Quite drinkable

A light hoppy aroma and a rather boring taste with medium bitter finish. Average carbonation. Hazy golden with a nice head, good lacing. A good bottle to offer to friends as it won’t offer many surprises.
