COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Zeitgeist is an ideosyncratic alternative black lager It seeks to recreate the spirit, attitude and autonomy of an age gone by. Its inspiration is found more than 200 years ago. Zeitgeist takes an age old classic, a forgotten masterpiece and gives it relevance and an avant-garde edge. Zeitgeist encapsulates our view of contemporary society, yet simultaneously endeavours to improve it. There is too much conformity. Not enough thought, not enough individualism, not enough alternatives. Our military line ups represent conformity to a higher authority, be it political, brand, celebrity, religion or trend. The subjects in our dystopian landscape further seek to repress their identity through uniforms and masks. Yet underneath their body shapes reveal cracks of personality and individualism. Zeitgeist is about identity, non-conformity and idiosyncrasy. It is a collective, an idea, a movement. It is about giving up ownership of itself to those who care enough to listen.

Nästan svart i färgen, lite tunn munkänsla. Lätt rostad ton och väldigt lättdrucken ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nice creamy foam, good flavor of hard roasted malt, a little smoke and some dried fruit aromas. The taste is slightly burned and suffered more licorice than you normally find in the German versions of a swartzbier. It has good and rich character, where the end have room for a little smoked malt. A little water towards the end, like hops easily flourished element may also be a little too marked.

Pullo @ Systembolaget.

Bottle at home. Pours dark brown with big beige head. Aroma of coffee, dark fruits, citrus, roasted malt, licorice, chocolate. Thin bodied, almost watery. Some bitterness, apparently mostly derived from roasted malt.

Pours black with tan head. A little watery in the taste and I pick up some buttery popcorn flavors mixed with the roast, not very pleasant.

Color coca cola, translucida. Gran lager

Black beer with a coffee and chocolate aroma. Flavour follows suit, with a light fruit taste in there too. Lovely hoppy finish
