A decent offering, well worth the money and iíd possibly get it again. Just didnít knock my socks off. For the style i liked it, not my favorite style, but this one was damn drinkable and didnt have the same odd flavor i get form most.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
bottle at Bow Bar in Edinburgh - Pours dark brown with very minimal head. Thereís a rich malt aroma. The flavor is sweet caramel malt with some dark fruit notes. This medium bodied brew is alright, but to me it was underwhelming as itís just average, which surprised me for Brewdog.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, at Haandverkerstuene. Itís a dark brown beer topped by a minimal off-white to beige head. Roasted malts, some dried fruits and a good dose of coffee on the nose. A bit weak, but nice. The flavor is roasted, with some chocolate and coffee. Nice bitterness too, leading to a roasted-bitter finish. Medium to full body, nice carbonation. A quite un-complex beer, straight forward, pleasant and quaffable. 100312

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Dark black appearance with a cream slight head. Aroma is fresh slightly malty almost grass like. Taste is like a stout but itís a fresh crisp lager that slips down quite easily with hints of coffee and chocolate but has a slightly smokey bitter finish to it. Itís quite well balanced and is an interesting beer overall.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
330ml bottle. Pours near solid black with brown tinges, slight beige head that disappears almost immediately. Smells dominately of cola with some malt hiding underneath. A little light on taste, with that odd cola/malt following through from the nose and a little light and bubbly on the palate. Not overly impressive.

Draught at TJís: Aroma of black bread, roasted malt, light rye, and light chocolate. Poured very deep amber/dark brown in color with a large, creamy, dense, tan/brown head that diminished but lasted throughout. Clear. Lightly sparkling. Excellent lacing. Flavor is lightly sweet and slightly bitter. Tastes of light roasted malt, light black bread, and slight chocolate. Medium body. Slick, creamy texture. Soft carbonation. Roasted malt and slight chocolate finish is smooth. A very smooth, drinkable beer.
