330ml bottle. This is a great example of a black lager. Dark in appearance with an off white head. Smells of cocoa powder and coffee. Mouth feel is thin but not watery. Taste is of bitter hops and malt - none of that overly sweet flavour you get with macros and also not too carbonated. A very sessionable and enjoyable beer.

Black beer with a coffee and chocolate aroma. Flavour follows suit, with a light fruit taste in there too. Lovely hoppy finish

Roasty. Thin. Fizzy. Some malt coming through. No real depth of flavour despite the blackness. Needs more substance in order for BrewDog to get to grip with the style.

On tap at CBB Bud. Zeitgeist pours a dark cola black pour with a tan head. It’s got a nice roasty nose with decent chocolatey malt flavor though I find the body a bit thin. Kind of Average.
