But this is really really good, going beyond ticking the style boxes and showing some artistry. aroma is just beautiful, a blanket of mild earthy/flowery saaz and a fantastic fresh malt smell, like walking past a brewery. In the mouth you have nutty munich malt doing most of the work, supported by touches of chocolate and salted licorice with a body judged just right - satisfyingly full but light enough to swill fast. Has the long dry coffee/saaz finish that makes good czech cernys scarily moreish. Classy stuff!

Pleasant smell of sweetish, rounded, lightly toasted dark malts. Some ripe apples, and a whiff chocolate. Taste is initial dry, becomes light bitter-sweet with a gentle roast tone. Faint coffee and pepper. Slick in the mouth. Distinct malty-bitter finish. Tasty and easy drinkable.

Praticamente senza schiuma (unica nota negativa, a mio parere). Consigliata. plovmand (1741), Helsinge, Denmark

Mainly a roasted aroma character with light coffee and sweet caramel notes. The flavour is light burned malt, light fruit, caramel and toffee. Ends up roasty and bitter.
