Named after the legendary Koehler poster boy, this blonde ale is golden in appearance and full in body. Smooth and delicious!

What an unassuming beer for my 5500th rating. Poured a lighter golden color with a white head. Aroma was pretty non existant, light corn sweetness and grass. Flavor similar, not offensive, but not flavorful in the least.

Draft at the brewery. Pours hazy amber with a thin, fizzy white head. Tastes like grass and dirt, roasted grains with a hint of burnt toast. Light body and low/medium carbonation. Smells like sweet grains, light dough and corn.

Flight from the pub. Pours a light golden with a thin layer of off white head. Aroma of hops and malts. Taste pretty much the same as the aroma.

Tap at brewery. Pours clear gold with creamy white head. Aroma is cereal and pale malts, faint floral notes, and faint funky fruit. Flavor is malty with just a hint of light fruit esters and hop bitterness to try and add balance; dry finish. Light body and low carbonation.

Draft @ the brew pub, hazy gold color, no head to speak of. Nose is kind of odd. Kind of like baked bread in a yeasty kind of way. Flavor is more yeast and some light pale malts. Light body with an odd after taste. Not sour just something that I really have a hard time trying to guess. I guess this is some hybrid APA / golden ale. Again like all the others in the sample flight, drinkable.

Touch of caramel and some rye on the nose unsweetened cookie dough. Corn and rice with candied sugar. Quite malty without any stand out features.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a dark amber color with a huge creamy and fluffy orange-white head that lingered and left incredible lacing. The aroma was faintly bitter sourdough bread and tangy golden fruit. The flavor was sweet and tangy - almost corny though a bit yeasty with an off presence I could not identify. Medium sweet tangy, yeasty and corny finish - again a bit off. Medium body.

Tap, pours a amber brown like, fairly dark for an amber, aroma was a bit chocolaty, the flavour was light and finish was okay, decent

Not blond in appearance. Weird initial candy flavors. A little cloying on the commencement. Comes across rather dry even tho it is cloying, weird combonation of attributes. Decent co2. Not bad but would not do again. Has a slight wildness to it but its not really tart.

Pours popcorn yellow with a thin white head. Has an oily mouthfeel which isn’t as off-putting as it might sound. Not a lot on the nose. Not getting a lot of taste notes on the tongue but this beer is somehow kind of pleasant.
