Draft @ brewpub. Dark copper brown with lasting tight cap. Chocolate malt husk in the aroma. Drinks easily. Nice and sessionable. Good malty character--not too husky, not too sweet, not too dry. Very good, one of the better house brews.

A quite nice dark lager. Chestnut, small dark head. Nose announces flavor ... dark sweet malts, caramel, touch of chocolate or coffee, some clear indication of German ancestry in the classic hops.
