This is a bit of a suprise, the ingreadiance say this has yeast in it and well this looks as if it is a bottle conditioned lager, not something i expected from an asian restant in glasgow, Cafe Mao. Bottle given with a slice of lie in already however i have nothing to complain about in aroma. Taste is minimal a little more malt character than expected.

I like this pub. An oasis in a desert of boring beers this brewpub often delivers a great beer, especially if it is a departure from the usual Asian lager. This looked good from the impression on the menu. Asian name and seemingly unique style. Then you read the description and think there is a real ’uh oh’ factor. Why do I like his place? Well, I had my suspicions and aked if I could have a sample of this beer. Sure was the answer and so I was given a gratis taste of this beer. Well, come on over American expats who crave a BMC. Yes indeed, all the characteristics of the damned triumvirate in one. Rice is the giveaway ingredient and its presence does not disappoint, expectations that is, not enjoyment.
