3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
The colour of a good NBA should be coppery and welcoming. This succeeds with the crowning of a very clean creamy head. The aroma is smoky with a touch of cigar, balanced by the waft of malt and toffee. The beer is mildly bitter with a goos back palate. For a mid range style ABV there is a good mouthfeel made up by the maltiness of the beer. A good drink even at these temperatures.
