Oats give this rich and very dark beer a silky mouth-feel with rich notes of chocolate and coffee.

On draft at the brewpub (Riverside Point). By far the best of the beers I tasted there. Sweet as an oatmeal stout should be but winy and bitter in the background, which is good. Not great but well good enough.

Bottle @ Van Moll Brewpub shared by Frits and some other dude. Thanks guys! Opaque dark brown to black color, small to average sized beige head. Smell and taste malts, smoky, something weird, iron, glue, some bitter. Pretty crappy actually. Meh at best.

Draught at brewpub. Black coloured. Dense light brown head. Aroma, chocolate, sweetness, light roast, cocoa, light coffee. Flavour. Sweetness, chocolate, roast, coffee, some herbs and spice. Medium bodied. Ends roasted bitter and sweet.

Tasted at reddot brewery. Poured a large brownish head of malt. Body is light black and one could see it is less thick than usual stouts. Mouth is disappointing with over-roasted malts which are not balanced by too weak hops, bitterness, warmth and thickness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Thanks to Gunther Bensch for this 50cl bottle. Pours a deep black color with a small tan head. Aromas of nice dark chocolates, malts, and hints of coffee. Flavors also of nice chocolates, malts, vanilla and of coffee. nice rich flavors. Medium body, slightly sweet, slightly bitter and with a dry and yet creamy finish. Very enjoyable brew.

(On tap) Black with a small tan head. Aroma is invitingly smokey. Full bodied, rich and smooth with fine lively carbonation. Flavour is full of dark smokey burnt notes, with plenty of subtle interesting complexity - licorice, dark chocolate coffee. A good stout, although a little over the top for me.

This is a good one. Bottle from the pub in Singapore. This is a good one. Pours a beautiful opaque black in the glass, with a thick off-white head. Aromas of dark chocolates, ashes and hazelnuts. Flavours go around the same area, but stronger, with a rather bitter, dray aftertaste, and a nice buttery feel on the palate.

UPDATED: NOV 29, 2014 33cl bottle. Aroma of coffee and cereal. Very small tan coloured head which quickly disappeared - no lacing noticable. Almost black in colour. Nice silky mouth feel, but bitter, smokey with flavours of roasted coffee, chocolate and malt. Bitterness continues on the palate.
