3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Beer3000 (3718) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAR 25, 2013
640 ml bottle. Hazy dark orange body with a big tan head. Rather mild in aroma, malt and fruit. Flavour is soft malt, fruity and moderate bitterness. This is not a hop bomb, but an IPA more in the British style. Less fruity and more floral, fine malt profile with well integrated bitterness. Medium body and moderate bitter aftertaste. Not too obvious, but I enjoyed it a lot.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 fletchfighters (815) - AUSTRALIA - AUG 27, 2012
A-- Moderate pour resulted in a huge, three finger head. OOPS. Eggshell white color head. Lumpy looking head that receded to a thick layer of film. Good staying power to head and very nice retention. Quite thick. Color wise it is a dark, hazy orange amber color. Active carbonation in the bottle as foam kept oozing out of the bottle.
S-- Lemon grass, lemon peel, orange, toffee, and a faint hint of grapefruit.
T-- Bright, crisp lemon citrus. Some pungent toffee covered orange and finishes with a grapefruit kick. Lots of lemon though.
M-- Highly creamy, heavy feel and medium carbonation. Clean, crisp and dry lemon finish. Quite earthy feel, just slightly gritty.
O-- Not a DIPA at all. More a bigger English IPA. Enough hops to keep this interesting and a big malt body. More of a sipper due to the weight of the beer but a solid experience.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Lubiere (8239) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 19, 2011
A hazed amber IPA with a thin off white head. In aroma, doughy malt with light grassy hops, honey notes. In mouth, a sweet caramel malt, lightly vinous, some nice treacle, with a bit of funky hops signature. More barley wine than olde ale, very nice. On tap at brewpub, July 11, 2011.
3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Stew41 (1572) - Woodend, AUSTRALIA - JUN 6, 2011
An obvious soup up of the basic IPA. Sweet hops and malts are not completely unexpected but quite well contained. That said, seems much stronger than the stated 7 percent abv. Actually to be fair this is actually very pleasant and a material step up on the other beers sampled from this house.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 KyotoLefty (4719) - Kyoto, JAPAN - JAN 23, 2011
Lemon, malt, bread, grass, caramel malt in the nose. Nice malt character. Cloudy, dull copper color. Very malty flavor: nice, spicy, with rich chocolate and caramel. Grassy hops. Smooth and rich palate. Decent and kind of original but not all that special. More hop aroma would be nice.
