Tap@Brewer’s Alley in Frederick, MD->mini pilsner glass. Pours a white, diminishing head atop a red, slightly cloudy body. Cherry flanvor, medium body, decent aftertaste, ending mildly astringent. I continue to be very unmoved by fruit-based beers and this one is certainly no exception.

Not much of a cherry taste in this guy, had only a slight cherry flavor, a hint of yeast, had an unfiltered feel to it.

This beer was on tap at the brewpub in the spring of 2009. It had a darker red color that was slightly cloudy and had a modest off-white head with mild cling and retention. Its aroma featured cherries and some malt and maybe yeast. The taste was a sweet-sour mix of cherries and was fairly malty. A wetter beer with lower carbonation and a medium to thin body. Not one of the better seasonals the brewery has offered, but worth trying.
