Draft. Overall, just okay... doesn’t compare to many of the Oktoberfest options available. The beer seems a bit weak and watery. Not one of BA’s best choices.

Growler on 09/26/2010. Clear copper body with a small creamy off-white head. Sweet toasty and light fruity malt aroma. Slightly grainy toast flavor. Medium light body with moderately high carbonation.

I have had a couple of these on tap at the brewery over the last week or two. The aroma is a malty caramel and earthy/grainy hop blend, but is not particularly strong. It has a clear amber-copper color with a very small, foamy white head that had short life. The flavor is sweet and malty, with a light touch of hoppy bitterness. Medium-density body and mouthfeel, with a slightly watery effect and lower carbonation. A solid beer for the season.
