Very hazy, crisp copper coloured body with bright orange highlights and a dense tan head - this one looks perfect. Aroma of bright citrus and floral hops with some honeysuckle and a dash of alcohol and apricots - nice. Medium-bodied; Nice hoppy flavour up front with a slight medicinal flavour and a resiny finish, but the floral hops and well shown up front and are aided by the good malt backbone. Some alcohol tastes show at the end and some bitter hops come through with a hint of metal. Overall, a nice American Pale, and a good beer that isn’t over done. A bit under-performing in complexity, but not a bad beer and worth trying if you can find it! I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Ye Old Spirit Shop in Frederick, Maryland on 29-July-2010 sampled at home in Washington on 01-October-2010.

I enjoyed a few pints of this beer during June of 2010 at the brewpub in Frederick. This pale ale had an amber-copper color with a small-average sized off-white head that had slight retention and light cling. The beer had an aroma of grainy and citrus hops, with some caramel malt for balance. It was a bit sweet and malty, but also had a grainy bitter presence. It was slightly wet, with an average-thin body and low carbonation.
