COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewers Alley Pilsner has a light pale golden yellow color and a distinct, though subtle, hop aroma and flavor with a refreshing aftertaste. It is truly a Brewmaster’s triumph, offering all the best found in the magnificent original European creation presented in an All-American version.

12 ounce bottle. I don’t remember where I got this. Rated 3/25/11. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a thin creamy white head. Fair head retention and lacing. Aroma of caramel apples primarily with some bready malts. Weird. The taste is apples, bready malts and bitter grassy hops. Medium bodied. Nowhere near style and not all that enjoyable.

Nice crisp golden coloured body with a light honey glow and a smallish, large-bubbled off-white head. Aroma of cardboard, malt, light sugars, funk and a touch of very very light hops. Light-bodied; Assertive light hops up front with a drying herbal malt and a light touch of sugars. Aftertaste is very mild, with some of the grassy and floral hops coming through, but very little else - no malt depth on this at all. Overall, a pretty sub-par pils, and for the bohemian section, this is a pretty big let-down. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Ye Olde Spirit Shop in Frederick, Maryland on 29-July-2010, sampled in New Paltz, New York on 20-November-2010.

Hard to find anything really good to say about this beer. Has a mass produced character, the flavor has a light amount of hoppiness but not much personality

My kind of beer. Restrained, but some very nice hop flavor, more along the lines of Oskar Blues Pils than Victory Prima. Malty in the same way of Oskar Blues. Very nice, and I find its State of Origin to be a bonus (I’m such a homer).

Very mild and smooth... Almost no carbonation. Nice golden color, head was non existent as poured. Taste was a little off, but all around okay for a light beer with food.

On tap at the pub. This was just bland. No aroma, it looked like a beer but don’t they all. The flavor was like a decent big guy lager. Nothing to write home about.

Location: On tap at the Brew Pub, 9/5/09

Aroma: Very light, some floral, corn, citrus
Appearance: Clear, pale, straw looking beer
Flavor: On the dull side, some grain, corn
Palate: Light body, crisp, watery
Overall Impression: Wasn’t impressed by this beer much, I found it dull and light...not much else to say.

12 oz bottle. Clear yellow with a slim white head. Nose is floral, tea and light toffee. Medium light with foamy carb. Has some substance. More sweet tea in the taste, with lemon. Finishes with a touch of honey and grapefruit pith.

Tap@Brewer’s Alley in Frederick, MD->mini pilsner glass. Pours a white, diminishing head atop a clear, yellow body with some lacing. Heavy wheat aroma, a lasting grain taste and finishes bitter and then astringent. It is what it is--a pils.

(Sample Date: 2/28/2009 Source:Other) At the brewery. Light graininess with some spicy hop notes in aroma. Clear light golden with a small white head. Light dry graininess in flavor. Finish is dry and slightly bitter.
