Draft pour - pours golden orange with nice medium, white, fully lasting head. Beautiful lacing. Aromas of pine, orange, citrus, and, yes, resin! Medium bodied, big orange and citrus notes, rounder palate. Nice bitter finish. One of my favorites, get it while it's hot!
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Nimrod979 (206) - Hagerstown, Maryland, USA - MAR 19, 2011
On tap at the brewpub. Poured a slightly hazy orange/bronze with a nice white head on top. Aroma was pleasant citrus and grapefruit nose. Had a pretty smooth hoppy flavor however it was pretty subdued for being considered an Imperial. I guess it’s just for the higher alcohol content. Somewhat sweet with a medium body and smooth creamy mouthfeel. Actually a really good brew if not for me expecting to have a little more flavor and hope bite.

Strong floral hop aroma, very nice. Frothy head that sticks around. Rich amber color, clear. Medium carbonation, medium body... Smooth for an IPA, relatively clean finish. Very good beer ... One of my favorites at BA.

resinator seasonal @ 8.2% abv... wasn’t really sure of the style until now. it makes sense, though... beautiful color like toasty caramel before the cream is added. off white head and a small amount of lace. lots of fruity hops in the aroma remind me of fruit loops cereal... orange, pineapple, pink grapefruit, flowers, sweet grains, caramel/toffee and coriander. the flavor is quite similar with a dry lightly resinous bitter finish. skunky and dirty earthy hops in the aftertaste. medium body with a rich mouth feel yet crisp...

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Aurelius (3443) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - JUL 26, 2007
I was glad to see that this is listed as an IPA. I asked the waitress if it was doppelbock (based on the name) and she said that it was, but it is definitely more in the IPA vein. Medium tea-colored gold-brown with a thin clingy head. Fruity caramel AIPA aroma. Dry and woody. Alcohol bitter over dry hops, seedy, slightly briny.
