(BCTC, draft) Soft medium beige head atop lightly hazed mahogany body. Aroma is medium sweet, cherry, some sourness, light tin. Taste is medium sweet, cherry, light wood, diacetyl. Not much sourness. Light-medium body.

bctc 08. I cant beleive this was one of the first beers for them to kick. Pretty bad stuff here. Pours a decent looking deep amber fruity red with a thin lasting head. Aroma was cough syrup, wierd slick cherries- and Diacetyl! ech- diacetyl in a fruit beer- gross. More syrupy cherry juice in the flavor mixed with butter and a weird slick finsih. Meh.

BCTC. Wow, this was bad. Dull, lager-like aroma, very vegetal. Crap. Sour cherry? Are you kidding? Nothing in this even comes close to showcasing cherry, or sour, or even any fruit. Blech.

Dark brown-red pour with a white head. A little bit of funk on the aroma, but otherwise dominated by cherries. Some creaminess as well. Sour cherry flavor with cream and spice, perhaps cinnamon. Woody finish.

Draft, BCTC 2007. Pours a murky, orangish-brown color; off-white head with good retention and tight lacing. Dense, moldy fruits and sugar in the aroma. Medium mouthfeel: overripe apples and some cinnamon; light spice, but mostly bland overall. Medium, apple and overripe fruit finish.

not oen of the better ones from ba. there was a tiny hint of cheery but the sourness took away from the whole beer. medium bodied for such a dark beer, finishes with a strange aftertaste.

Not a pleasant beer. Off tap, it was very sour and vinegary. Luckily I was just sampling while I was waiting for the bartend to search for an Achel Trappist (no luck). Very little hint of cherry, woould have wanted something a bit more sweet since it was trying to approach a lambic I presume. Extremely cloudy and messy pour in the glass. I’d rate this just below the pale ale in my book on their selection of beers. (maybe since I was having a "winter seasonal" in May, I think it went south)

Reddish opaque in color, lightly sweet, not particularly tart , fake cherry flavor. Not anything special.
