4 oz draft pour at Leinenkugel’s Beer Garden in Baltimore. Clear honey yellow with off-white head. Aromas of big Maraschino cherries, cherry skin. Tastes of Maraschino cherries, cherry syrup. Medium-light body with a dry finish. Was expecting some sour/tart notes but none to be found.

Nice reddish copper pour. A little rusty in aroma, with some light cherry infusion. Soft carbonation. Not much to this. Tap at Glen’s Market.

hazy red amber pour, thin small bubbled white ring. Nose is woody, phenolic with heavy sour Brett b cherry, but synthetic. Flavor similar, dry, not a yeasty, bit acetic with heavy cherry pie and finishing in estery pepper and grape skin.

Draft @ the brewpub. Pours a clear reddish brown color with a small off-white head. Has a sweetish fruity cherry aroma. Sweetish fruity and slightly tart sour cherry flavor. Has a fruity and slightly tart cherry finish.

Pours brown with a light head. Not a ton of aroma except for faint hints of malts not even the expected cherry. If you concentrate really really really hard you might get a faint subtle dusting of cherry flavor. You could also say the same about the brown ale. Finishes with a bit of the malt. I wasn’t expecting such beer minimalism.

(BCTC, draft) Soft medium beige head atop lightly hazed mahogany body. Aroma is medium sweet, cherry, some sourness, light tin. Taste is medium sweet, cherry, light wood, diacetyl. Not much sourness. Light-medium body.

bctc 08. I cant beleive this was one of the first beers for them to kick. Pretty bad stuff here. Pours a decent looking deep amber fruity red with a thin lasting head. Aroma was cough syrup, wierd slick cherries- and Diacetyl! ech- diacetyl in a fruit beer- gross. More syrupy cherry juice in the flavor mixed with butter and a weird slick finsih. Meh.

BCTC. Wow, this was bad. Dull, lager-like aroma, very vegetal. Crap. Sour cherry? Are you kidding? Nothing in this even comes close to showcasing cherry, or sour, or even any fruit. Blech.

Dark brown-red pour with a white head. A little bit of funk on the aroma, but otherwise dominated by cherries. Some creaminess as well. Sour cherry flavor with cream and spice, perhaps cinnamon. Woody finish.
