On tap at the brewery. Pours a mostly clear amber with a medium sized white head that falls away. Gentle musk and a touch of lemon. Medium bodied, soft bitterness with some lovely musk and pink grapefruit. Slow musky finish. Beautiful and featuring a ton of complexity for such a small beer.

Cask at Max’s - kudos for making a sessionale saison, but boo for adding grapefruit - there is a citric sweetness that undercuts the dry, grainy notes and herbal, floral charcter and washes out the mild phenolics - meh.
