In short: A basic yeasty golden ale. Well attenuated, a bit dusty. Straightforward.
How: Bottle 22oz. Post-EBF tasting session #2 with east-coast crew.
The look: Almost clear golden body topped by large off-white head
In long: Nose is plain yeasty with light musty notes. Taste is very basic yeasty beer. Lost of dusty/dirty yeast with the usual fruity notes that we usually find in amber yeasty ales. Well attenuated. Fluffy lively body. Not bad. Current average is currently below 3.2 which usually indicates a train wreck. I actually thought this was quite drinkable even if very simple. Not as bad as the ratings may suggest. Just not a beer I would kill for. I try to keep my hobbies separate.

Amber pour. Yeasty aroma, light fruit. Boring flavor. I think it would have been ok if not in the middle of 50 million amazing beers at the RBWG. Maybe.

good roasted aroma. nice golden color. very nutty flavor. a bit bitter and finishes dry decent feel.

Bottle. Pours a hazy amber toned body with a copper toned whit head. Yeasty aromatic character with zesty citrus and fruit tones, eathy drying herbal format. Light citrus and a mild warming. According to Dany Glouglouburp "Dany is fuckin hot, nice firm ass, good rump from behind" Yeah the rump was okay. lol.

Bottle at Ryan’s Midtown Hotel room tasting post EBF 2010: Hazy deep copper pour with a white bubbly/wispy head. Fruity roma with some prune and spicy Belgian phenolics. Effervescent feel on the palate. Toasted flavor with some spicy phenols and dark fruit notes. Chalky phenols and an herbal peppery hop back. A simple and fruity Biere de garde.

Bottle at Ryan’s hotel room tasting after session one of EBF in Boston. Pours a hazy brown with a medium sized white head. Sweet plums, funky, musty and musky. Funky must, spicy caramel.

Bottle courtesy of Greg at Pizzeria Paradiso. Clear golden with a giant white head that settles slowly to leave moderate lacing. Aroma of freshly baked bread. Flavor has lots of malt up front, well balanced, citrus/grapefruit/lemon, with great body. Nice.

On tap at Brewer’s Art. Pours unclear amber. Big spiked orange juice, little
vodka. Taste is like a screwdriver: lots of orange peel and orange juice. Sweet and boozy. Belgian yeast presence. A bit musty. Pretty good.
