Our answer to the Belgian «devil» beers (i.e. Lucifer, Duvel, etc.). Both rich and dry, this beer is all too easy to consume in large quantities. Hopped with Styrian Goldings.

Note: Name changed from Ozzy to Beazly.

Botle 75 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Slightly hazy golden with a lively shaving foam style white head. Sweet fruity and yeasty nose. Medium body, sweet fruitiness with a little spices. A little hops in the finish to even out the alcohol. Pleasant and drinkable but nothing real flashy. 241009

Bottle, 7.3%. Mild fruity aroma, hint of yeast. Hazy yellow colour, tiny floaties. Very big stable off-white head. The flavour is slightly sweet, has some straw and hay. A little rough bitterness, but there is a good spicy note. It is quite close to the Belgian beers they tried to copy, I think.

Bottle: Poured a yellow color with a white head. The aroma was yeast and citrus. The flavor was a light body, sweet yeast, banana’s, lemons, apples, oranges, and a hint of pepper. Overall, a tad weak flavor keeps this from standing up to its competition.

On tap @ The Brewers Art. Clear golden yellow with a pure white head. Big yeasty aroma with ample German hops, light fruit and a mild bready scent. All of the flavors are in this one, sweet, sour and bitter and they are well balanced. Medium to light in body with average carbonation and a creamy soft mouth feel. My favorite of the night from the pub.

@Tampa Wkly Gathering courtesy markwise-750ml bottle #302-pours a foamy white head and hazy gold color. Aroma is sweet light malt, yeast, lemon, spice. Taste is sweet light malt, yeast, lemon, spice. Carbonation up front then that fades out.

Straight from the tap at BA. Golden pour with white or off white head (the dungeon doesn’t give off the best light...). Grassy, with a tang at the end. Spices show through at the end. Very easy to drink. Nothing spectacular, but definitely enjoyable en mass.

Bomber. Pours bubbly hazy gold, thick white head. Aroma is skunky hoppy, malty, and tangy fruit. Flavor is grassy, tangy, fruity. A nice blend with some subtle spicing and not too sweet. Fairly crisp and dry. I would definitely drink more of this.

spice and sweet in the aroma at the same time, almost sweet to the point of reminding me a of a wheat beer, pale golden color with a big foamy head. sweet malts blended with spices and plenty of yeast in the flavor and a little bit of too much carbonation and hops in the aftertaste. a good beer, but a bit plain for the category it is in.
