COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our answer to the Belgian «devil» beers (i.e. Lucifer, Duvel, etc.). Both rich and dry, this beer is all too easy to consume in large quantities. Hopped with Styrian Goldings.

On tap at Brewers Art. Pours a clear light yellow with a very nice white head that has great retention and lacing. Aroma is floral hops, pilsener notes, some lemongrass, perfume. Taste is lemon sorbet, bitter Saaz hops, light candi sugar. Very good- easy to drink and well balanced.

A nice version of the Devil, slightly more carbonation and certainly more bitter. On tap in the celler

On draught at Brewer’s Art in Baltimore: Holy carbonation! Poured a bright hazey golden colour with a large white head. Volcanic almost. Noticeable yeasty esters right away. Aroma is very grassy but spicey as well. Lots of wheat and spices on the palate with a certain bubblegum flavour coming through. Some earthy spices and bread flavours.

Courtesy of markwise. Pours hazy copper with gold hues and big off white head. The aroma is full with light colored fruity esters like apricots, light skinned grapes, prunes (ok, not all light colored), pears and watermelon. The taste has an initial sweet malt and graininess that kick starts everything before the fruity esters roll in with spicy hops in tow. The graininess picks up again into the finish along with a dash or two of honey. Pretty sweet tasting brew that begins to overwhelm me with its sweetness after a few ounces.

Cloudy golden with a medium off white head. Sweet malty aroma with coriander a and hops. Flavour was spicy with mainly coriander followed up by roasted malt and yeasty notes.

Botle 75 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Slightly hazy golden with a lively shaving foam style white head. Sweet fruity and yeasty nose. Medium body, sweet fruitiness with a little spices. A little hops in the finish to even out the alcohol. Pleasant and drinkable but nothing real flashy. 241009
