JDBaker11058 (1538) - Maryland, USA - JUL 30, 2013
Appearance: cloudy near-orange with two fingers of white head, average lacing. Aroma: orange peel, white pepper, coriander, and cracked wheat. Taste: zesty citrus over a wheaty, spicy, slightly yeasty twang. Finish: crisp, with a pleasant zing of spicy, gently peppery yeast, lingering citrus, and a crackery note. Notes: Wonderful wit. On tap at Brewer’s. Great session beer, with a pitch-perfect palate. After reading the reviews here, I’m wondering if others got a bad batch or if I need a brand new palate.

Draft. Very dim lighting down in the cave but it looks hazy gold with a thin white head. Tastes floral, like herbs, slightly bitter and dry. Light body and medium carbonation. Smells like herbs, root vegetables, and some lemon.

On tap at Brewer’s Art. Pours a lightly hazed glowing gold with a medium sized white head. Msuky coriander all over the nose. Medium bodied, soft coriander, musk. Musk, lemon, wheat. Lemon and musk into the finish, smooth and clean, very nice.

Sampled this one after drinking two Allagash Whites which probably biased this rating (although not by much!). Clear, pale yellow with a thin white head (looked like any old BMC product), nose of, well not much, but a hint of citrus, flavor was very weak, just a hint of spice and that is it. Watery, very watery. Just a lousy beer.

Straight from tap at BA. Probably my least favorite of the BA beers. Thin, weak body. Smells like banana- straight away. Not surprisingly, my 80 pound asian lady friend totally enjoyed it.
