Aries (13-sign) - April 18 to May 13. Delightfully hoppy session ale (Cascade, Saaz), flavored with Holy Basil.

Tap. Pours clear amber with thin, fizzy off-white head; short retention and minimal lacing. Aroma is straw and biscuit malt, grassy and dank hops, figs, pine, and light almond. Flavor is malt and herbs with supporting hops and some fruit esters; dry finish. Light body, medium carbonation, and low warmth.

Tap at Brewer’s Art. Pours clear orange with a medium, frothy white head, medium retention with light lacing. Aroma is pepper, basil, crackers, herbal and earthy hops with faint fruity esters. Flavor is malt forward with spices, black pepper, basil, light hops and bitterness with a dry finish. Light body and warmth with medium carbonation.

Draft @ the brewpub. Pours a clear amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty weak hoppy aroma. Fruity malty weak hoppy flavor. Has a fruity malty hoppy finish.

Pours dark golden with only a smidgen of a white head. Not a ton of aroma for me. Fairly mellow on the tongue. Not getting much hoppiness or a lot of spice notes. Finish with a bit of oompf. I get more of the malt on the finish. A solid, respectable beer.
