Pours dark amber with off-white head. Some spicy hops in the aroma alongside apple pie, peach, pear. Flavor is balanced with a smoky overtone that lays int he middle of the tongue. Hops return for a spicy finish.

UPDATED: FEB 6, 2011 Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a clear copper-gold color with a medium thin and bubbly off-white head that diminishes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. The aroma is slightly metallic with citrus and spice. Medium body with flavors of zesty citrus, yeast, sweet spices and malt. The finish is fruity up front with a spicy yeast aftertaste. Above average overall.
