3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap at BA Holiday fest. Under the name - Zodiac- but it was during the Sagittarius period. I think they said this one was 4.5%. Pours a nice light golden slight haze and a decent lasting pure white head. Aroma is spicy phenolic- Belgian ale yeast, yet mostly clean- allowing crackery doughy and light toasted malts through- grassy lemony hop aroma comes through as it mixes with the phenolics, but also the straight simcoe comes through a bit more as it warms. Fluffy doughy cracker and pils malt flavor, light sweetness, honey, floral, good spicy and tropical fruitiness from the hops, a bit lemon and citrus bitterness in the end- clean and well made.
