COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Light copper in color, with a huge hop aroma followed by a strong hop bitterness. This one is for all you hop heads out there!

On tap. Pours copper with a nice head. Okay, now I’m getting into the meat of Brewers’ line up. This has a rather delightful hop aroma. It’s instantly notable as dry and bitter. Plenty of spicy hints of peppers, pine, and ganja are here. The mouthfeel is solid and no alcohol can be found by the tongue. The finish is sappy, though stinging and spicy from all the grapefruit flavor. I really have no problems with this one. I’d drink it regularly if I were in the area.

I traveled from Sarasota, Fl to Brewer’s Brewing and was very impressed. All the beers were good but my favorite was the Brickyard IPA. This was a very drinkable IPA. Not that bitter to me. Strong citrus notes in flavor and aroma. A golden, almost orange color with a slight haze. Alcohol taste was mild for a 7.1 ABV beer. Had to get a growler for later! Will be back to fill it on the next trip!

The aroma was toasty and nutty with a caramel note and a grassy and citrusy aroma which was very understated. More aroma would certainly be nice. The beer arrived lightly hazy golden amber with a low white head which laced the glass from top to bottom. The flavor was malty caramel with an aggressive hop flavor flavor and bittering. The hop flavors were grapefruit and orange citrus with a resinous and grassy, yet almost harsh, hop bitterness. The hop character lasting long into the dry finish and was resinous and citrusy in bittering and flavor. The body was medium or perhaps just a tad more with moderate carbonation and a creamy texture on the palate. A tasty pint, but on the edge of being a bit harsh. Pint at the brewpub.
