Pint at the brewpub. Pours a hazy copper with a soapy white head. The aroma is husky and wooden with a dash of grapefruit. This is a fairly straightforward APA, not bad at all. The flavor is fairly dry with a respectable citrus present. Wood and tame caramel sweetness are found. This isn’t bad, but with their IPA available it isn’t my first choice.

The aroma was fruity and bready with a nice caramel aroma and a toasty aspect. Also present was a lightly citrus character. The beer arrived hazy golden with a frothy white head which was tall and well lasting to laced the glass from top to bottom. The flavor was nicely accomplished with a nice malt presence and a citrusy flavor with a moderate level of bittering and a citrusy flavor which was lightly grassy and earthy. The finish went dry with lasting citrus into the aftertaste. The body was medium with a moderate level of carbonation and a creamy texture on the palate. A very good pale ale, whether organic or not.
