on tap. Pours near black, on the darker side of porters. The nose features heavy chocolate and dense toasty oats. The mouthfeel is surprisingly chewy for just 4.4% abv. My favorite thing about this porter is the coffee character. I really wonder if some real coffee was used in the brewing because of its genuine, well-rounded presence, especially in the finish. More bold chocolate and oatmeal are found on the palate. This is a very delicious porter, it hits on all counts.
