Brewers Den Waay Heavy Scotch Ale

dark ruby brown pour with a small sandy tan head. aromas is a little buttery (in a good way).... lots of toffee, oaky vanilla, sweet grain and a touch of the alcohol along with some kind of fruitiness. big butterscotch/toffee-like flavors combine with vanilla, light whiskey/boozy notes, caramel and some coffee-like nuttiness. woody dryness and some light bittering on the finish with a hint of smokiness/peat. it dries out the mouth into the aftertaste. buttery mouth feel, medium body, slick texture and low level of carbonation.

Tap @ Brewhouse. Sweet fruits for aroma on the nose. Black body with red tynt. Flavor of plums and sweet thicker body texture. Leaves that scottish sweet filmy laquer aftertaste on the palate. Good brew.
