3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
7th December 2012
Pigs Ear. Opaque dark brown beer, little pale tan head. Palate is smooth and dry. Smooth dark malts, not roasty or bitter but dry. Touch of chocolate, cocoa like. There was some confusion about this beer being the same as the Impy stout - but they were both on at the same time and this tastes different. A bit dry this one but decent.

Cask at the Pigs Ear Beer Festival, 2012. Dark brown pour with a beige head. Aromas of chocolate, milky coffee, clotted cream and vanilla. Very nice milky chocolate feel, smooth, warming. Long chocolate finish. Tasty
