On tap at GTMW. Poured clear medium golden with a tall beige head. The aroma picked up sweet, toasty honey with spicy fruit (Asian pear comes to mind) and peppery accents.. fairly generic maltage, but it worked OK. The flavor found sweet bready, pale, and honey maltage at the core, with spicy fruit and peppery notes around.. warm finish that I really enjoyed. Heavy-bodied, grainy, and a touch sugary on the palate.. clean and well-balanced.. solid brew.
