3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Semi clear very small and head yellow color. Clove floral notes, sour notes. Body is light, sour from start to finish, not really a Weiss beer, just a soured wheat. Enjoyable soured beer.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft at the brewpub. Pours hazy pale gold with razor thin white head (which is a lot for a Vivant beer). Notes of oak, clove, solidly tart.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at FoBAB 2013 (Chicago, IL). Pours a nicely hazed golden straw hue, gentle haziness. Some nice frothy whitish head atop stays as a mellow ring, sticks around and laces ok. Aromas are gentle Belgian yeast, mellow spice, estery fruit. Touches of lactic acidity are lemony, some subtle crab apple, flaked wheat and bread dough. Touches of yogurt, oak. Initial is a bit spicy, Belgian yeast and touches of fruity ester show some pear, lemon and apple. Decent tartness, apple, pear, gentle clove and Belgian yeast. Subtle oak, funk. Dryness, crisp bready elements. Some tartness funk, and oak. Nice stuff, a bit bland the Belgian yeast does some work.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tap: golden body, so mudded with yeast that it’s basically opaque; thin, fleeting, bone-white head is gone in a few moments. Aroma is kind of subdued, with faint lemon tartness, hay, soft wheat, & not much else. Taste has more tart lemon flesh & peels up front with a bit of wheat surrounding it. Mid-palate gets quite astringent & sharp but never reaches puckeringly sour levels... Only a mild tartness, very faint acidity. Light oak/wood in the finish; dry with a touch of hay.
