COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hoppy Belgian Ale. This red ale is all about hops. It is an American-Belgian fusion of beer styles taking imported Belgian caramel malts and bitch slapping it with a heavy handed dose of American hops. Expect hints of mango, pineapple, and citrus to hit your nose with an assertive hop presence.

Hazy amber beer with a tidy cream coloured head. Light palate, crisp and semi dry. Mild orange hops, tangerine too. Slightly tangy - sour. Minerally sharp finish. Fresh, interesting!

Draft sample at BV. Poured a clear dark ruby color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy toasted balanced and yeast aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy toasted complex bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. My expectation where again exceeded.

This beer pours a clear copper-amber color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. The aroma is hoppy with notes of malt and spice. Medium-bodied with a moderately bitter hops character and notes of caramel malt, spices and fruit. The finish is hoppy with a short bitter aftertaste. Above average overall.

A nicely hopped red ale. It is not too sweet and malty, nice specialty malts, hop presence is citrusy.

Can. Light toffee malt and strong pine/spruce aroma. Amber with large light tan head. Lightly sweet toffee malt, musty yeast, and mildly bitter pine flavor. Body on the lighter side - nicely drinkable.

16oz can, thanks to umich03jm. Very big khaki foamy head. Head could be described as annoyingly big. Hazy darker red color. Great, thick lace. Soft and crisp, but strong carbonation. Dry texture. Lightly earthy hop. Bigger caramel and oddly funky malt. Some kind of dark sugary belgian candy taste in there. Mostly sweet, light odd bitter finish. Hint of chocolate. Very toasty, kind of dusty malt. Texture and appearance and some of the taste feels authentically Belgian-style, but that doesn’t make this work for me. Was difficult to finish - should have shared this one.
