3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
May 23 at Beercade Emporium. Pours red in the provided tulip glass. A fresh, hoppy smell; what seems like a Citra nose. Same hops dancing around on my tongue. Malts are recognizable those of an amber or "Red Ale," but just there to support APA level hops.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can thanks to my mom! Pours a clear red with a slight amber hue and a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of grain and bread supported pine and some bitter citrus. Flavor has sweet grains, light pine and citrus up front but finish has a nice sweet tropical fruit note.

Pours an amber color with a thin white head. Aroma is Belgian yeast up front, with some intoxicating citrus and tropical fruit hops, with pineapple standing out. Flavor is sweet citrus and tropical fruits. Bitterness is practically non-existent. Great beer.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Canned. Pours very pretty red, almost mahogany/ruby color, white/tan head. Aroma is sweet caramel, with absolutely tons of mango and pineapple, heavier on the pineapple. Absolutely intoxicating aroma. Flavor is a bit more malt, caramel, but the hops are prevalent. Citrus, pine, pineapple, light citrus and mango. Really good beer.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
From a can, this pours a clear reddish brown with a pale orange head. Grapefruit aroma dominates on the pour, followed by some malt. Moderately bitter. It’s a bit thin and watery, but that’s just me. Overall I thought this was pretty good. This is another Belgian style beer thats changed my thinking. Got a couple more to try from them!

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Poured from a can dated 05/19/2015.
Aroma is malty with some caramel, toasted bread and burnt sugar. Some light raisin notes. Quite a bit of overripe stone fruit and pears with some light cherry. Medium light spicy phenolics. Not very hoppy but some light floral and spicy hop notes with a touch of citrus.
Pours a dark, brownish red/auburn with a medium small, moderateky thick, tan head that recedes steadily to the edges. Medium lacing and small legs.
Flavor is fairly sweet with some caramel, toasted bread, toffee and nuts. Some spicy phenolics with moderately strong esters. Raisins, stone fruit, pear and red apple are all present with stone fruit and raisins fairly prevalent. Hop notes are floral and somewhat citrusy with medium light bitterness. A light woodsy note. Some lingering phenolic spice and toasted bread.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringnecy and low alcohol warmth.
Overall, rather malty with a lot of esters. Perhaps too much yeast character for the malts to show through. An interesting and unique red ale, but not great.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
16oz can into glass. Pours a clear amber. Thin head and fast disapating lacing. Aroma of awesome citrus melodies, reminds me of alot of my favorite iPad, namely foundation epiphany. Love citra hops, love. A red malt presence tones this one down, but the aroma stays frontal into the taste, with hops, melon, pear, juicy mango, and a red amber backbone. This is great, and the moderate abv helps accordingly also. Really enjoying this one.
