2.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 Travlr (5379) - Washington, USA - JAN 15, 2012
Draft at HopCat. Although this was advertised as a sour, it didn’t have any characteristics of a sour. It had a decent nose of vanilla and subtle bourbon, but the body was thin and flavor had no apparent funk. Oh well.

On tap at brewery, pours a clear golden with a thin white head, the aroma is extremely musty and full of garbage, the flavor reminded me of dirty water and plastic, huge miss for me. I honestly had a hard time finishing the sample.

Draft sample at BV. Poured a clear copper color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy balanced and yeast aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. My expectation where exceeded.
