3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
pours amber with frothy white head.aroma is very similar to a rhine wine.slight orange and yeast to compliment it.flavor is fruity, sweet and has the tannic qualities of a chardonnay.light body, heavy carbonation, thin mouthfeel and a very dry finish.sours are definitely not something i tend to try often because i do not like the cider like qualities they tend to have.as i was drinking this beer my rating kept on going up.this is the best sour ive tried so far.it seems to have a slight chardonnay quality to it but the tannins do not become overpowering.maybe this beer is turning me on to the sours

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at Ashley's in Ann Arbor. The pour is a strange pink gold with a thin layer of white head that just won't leave. There is a little bit of lace, but nothing excessively sticky. The aroma is a little sweeter and more of a fruit dominance than a sour, which is a little surprising. The deeper you go, just more fruit. The flavor is strange. It's almost bitter as opposed to sour. No real funk, and the fruit is drowned out by the bitterness. The mouth feel is thin and well carbonated, but the aftertaste is just bitter fruit. Not good bitter fruit, but something you want to leave.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Another great gift. Pours orange-amber with a fair khaki head that leaves some spots of lace. Nose involves brown sugar, tart yeast, some funky earthy stuff, apple skin, hay and grass. Pretty sweet, fairly tart, slight bitter. Medium to full bodied, oily, snappy, tart, with a lengthy yeasty drying farmy finish. Really enjoying this. Sure it would gain some complexity with a little more age, but as is, it has plenty of good stuff going on and it’s just flat out refreshing and drinkable despite the ABV. Good stuff.

Clear and golden color. Aroma of apples and a bit of funk. Taste is a very mild sour with a lot of apple and some weirdness on the backside

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Can from a trade. Aroma and flavor of a Brett-conditioned pale ale. Definitely get the soured hops. Not a huge fan, but I can see it's selling points. Ok beer.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
From the can, brett, citrus and funk all around. One of the tastiest brett beers I have ever had. Love it.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Aroma reminds me of a late harvest reisling, acidic apple, pear, some cherry and a hint of metal; banana is the only aroma I get that I would not expect of a late harvest reisling. Appearance is a hazy reddish orange, a tuft of white foam and thick curtains of lace. Taste is acidic, slightly sour, apple and pear stand out prominently with a light oregano like hop bitterness on the end. Palate is beautiful, I almost wanted to give it 5/5; fizzy and creamy, but not syrupy, very nice. Overall, a great beer, a little pricy, but I will still be buying this again. Cheers!

4.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Can. Cloudy amber. Tons of head on pour. Incredible lacing and a thin layer of head lasting throughout drink. Nose is pure yeast/funk. Thinnish mouthfeel. Bretta yeast defines this beer--tastes very much like a farmhouse. Very mild hop presence felt on tongue. Great beer--too bad it’s so expensive!
