COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This dark ale is fermented with a blend of two rustic Belgian yeast strains which gives the beer an up front farmhouse tartness followed by hints of coffee, dark chocolate, and black cherries. We aged the beer for over three months to give the yeast time to work its magic and let the flavors meld together. Listen to that lunatic in your head, dust off that vinyl, pour the beer into a glass and sip your way into a happy, chilled out groove.

Tap. Poured a clear dark brown color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted and produced good lacing. Moderate toasted dark chocolate and soft cherry aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium toasted dark sweet flavor with a medium dark sweet finish of moderate duration. This is an interesting brew.

Draft. Hazy brown color, small tan head. Aroma of very roasty cocoa and chocolate. Taste is softly sour coffee. Maybe should be classified as a sour?

Tap at Churchkey for CBC thanks to nimbleprop and nmann08. Pours an opaque black, medium latte foam. Nose is sweeter chocolate cake. Taste is tart, minerally, spicy, roasty, dark chocolate. Sharp tartaric acid bite with a long sour black cherry note. Really works well as sour stout. How this is Belgian Strong Ale is beyond comprehension.
