COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Triomphe: Belgian IPA 6.5% abv 16 oz large tulip glass This beer is made with a classic Belgian style yeast strain that gives the complexity and slight sweetness you may expect from a Belgian style ale, but then reaches deeper providing a smack-down of American hops. Served in a large Tulip glass to capture the and focus the hop aromas.

16oz can into a glass. Pours a clear orange honey amber. Minimal head, fast fading white head. Aroma of orange spice, sour green apple, Belgian spice, with a pleasant fruitiness overall. Good hybrid here, there could be a more vibrant hop punch, but its still solid. Sweet and dry fruit peels, a bouncy hop stature, and a cleansing finish. Bitter aftertaste, smooth transition for more. Solid brew.

On tap at brewery vivant. Great mixture of Belgian and ipa. I have had other offerings from this hybrid style but this one really nails it. More Belgian than ipa but that's what you want out of it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

16oz can shared. Poured s medium orange with off white head. Mild aroma of Belgian yeast and malt and hops. Nothing offensive just kind of generic in nature. The flavor was of mild Belgian style and mild hops like it is almost afraid to jump out the can. Could have been a whole lot better. But just average instead.

Can. Deep gold/amber body. Frothy white head, rapidly diminishing. Light aroma of spice and raw grain. Whisper of citrus and straw. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. I finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Either the Belgian yeast and American hops are clashing or the beer was slightly infected (likely), but there’s a vinegar aftertaste that is off-putting. Other than that, you’ll find clove and a light raw vegetable taste.

Can: Pours clear copper...with a small, off-white head. Pine, orange-candy aroma. Taste is peppery yeast, orange malt, fruit. Slightly toasty, caramel malt.....apple. Nice herbal/earthy spicing and bitter. Very tasty.

Draft at brewpub. Pours light orange with little head. Has that Belgian yeast thing on the nose. The yeast is pretty strong on the tongue as well but the this hop presence kind of smacks you in the nose. Finishes clean without a lot of bitterness. I don’t think the IPA elements combine well with the Belgian yeast thing.

Poured a darker orange color from the can with aromas of yeast, sugar, light citrus and malt. Flavors match the aromas yeast and bread up front followed by light hops and citrus, mild bitter aftertaste.

Can- pours clear copper frothy tan head. Nose of Belgian yeast, candied sugars, phenols , citrus and lemon rind. Estery Belgian yeast and clove flavors and some interesting hop bitterness. Avg BPA and a little heavy. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

can. pours hazy medium dark golden with a creamy light beige-orange head, good retention and nice lacing. sweetish toasted caramel, spicy apricots, booze, candi sweetness, woodsy, hint of cardboard. moderately low carbonation, light to medium body - oily, semi-sweet grassy-spicy finish. slightly unbalanced. shy both belgian and ipa character.
