COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Triomphe: Belgian IPA 6.5% abv 16 oz large tulip glass This beer is made with a classic Belgian style yeast strain that gives the complexity and slight sweetness you may expect from a Belgian style ale, but then reaches deeper providing a smack-down of American hops. Served in a large Tulip glass to capture the and focus the hop aromas.

Reviewed from notes. Rcvd in trade. This was poured into a tulip as I thought this was a Belgian IPA. The appearance was a nice looking hazy golden bronzed amber color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within less than a minute. There wasn’t much lacing. The smell had some tart to sour notes of grassy/lemon and moves towards some light Belgian spices. The taste combines it all to fit a sour to bitter mouthiness to fulfill a light tart fruitiness all around. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation seemed good for a Belgian IPA as there was a pretty decent harshness but not overbearing. Overall, this was not a bad IPA or Belgian IPA, either way I could see myself having this again.

Can poured into nonic pint glass. Great citrus nose and golden color. Has a very well balanced hop profile, with the yeasty Belgian feel that this beer promises. Drinkable. almost to the point of sessionable - despite the 6.5% ABV. Very solid.

16oz can - pours a darker gold . Big citrus aromas mask a hint of fruity yeast . Nice and bitter up front but finishes with some sweetness . Interesting . ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can. Clear copper with a big, beige head. Sweet barnhouse funk and malt aromas. Light and sour with apples.

[Tap] Deep golden color with a small and somewhat fizzy head. Nose is not particularly hoppy, but more focused on Belgian yeasty notes. Taste is more hoppy and includes citrus rind and grassy notes. Spicy white pepper notes imparted by the yeast in the finish. Lively carbonation. Not bad, but flavors seemed to be more muted compared to other beers in this style.

Can. Pour a hazy yellow-gold with a quickly dissipating white head. A nice combination of Belgian style fruitiness and a moderate hoppiness in the aroma and taste. Not overlly bitter, nice drinkable IPA.

Rated on 02-01-2012. This canned IPA pours a medium sized very fizzy off-white head with a long retention, gold hazy body and virtually no lacing. The aroma is malty, yeasty, citrus, pine hops, and semi-sweet. The flavor is semi-sweet, caramel malt, herbal, citrus, and pine hops. The mouthfeel is soft carbonation and this beer is medium bodied. This beer is very quaffable with an enjoyable all around good flavor. It is not an overly hoppy tasting IPA and it is worth trying.

I do like the initial sweet taste of this beer but it leaves a bitter taste in your mouth towards the end.

It has a hoppy with a soapy finish. Noticeable fruitiness and citrus notes. Pours a light yellow.
