3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Too much wheat in the aroma! Yeast is there too, though typically so - not Vivant’s norm. A teasing gold, brown, red combo in appearance; gorgeous. In flavor, wheat again plays too large a role, though not as dominantly; some soft fruit notes, though unexpressive. Residual cloying - blame the wheat. It’s a good beer that I happen not to like. For that I’ll blame the wheat as well.

On tap. Pours as near clear golden orange with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of sweet light fruit with a bit of citrus, a touch of pine and a wheat backbone. Flavor is similar with sweet light fruit and flora, a light citrus note and some wheat in the finish.
