330ml bottle. Pours a hazy sunset golden colour with a big thick head of beige coloured foam. There is a lot going on in the aroma with plenty of vanilla, butterscotch and caramel. Strong in he mouth with a good solid body.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. Hazy golden orange amber. Thin white head. Inviting nose - melon, herbs (rosemary/lemongrass?) touch of pissy hop, definite rye spice but not over the top, toasty and subtle. Lovely and juicy, but not cloying - bready malt, touch of saison-esque rye character, tropical fruits, apricot yoghurt, slight orange pith. Soft creamy mouthfeel, but not flat. Amazing mouthfeel actually. Didn’t know what to expect, but this beer is awesome!

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Aroma: Very piney and floral perfume. Hints of dirt and orange peel.
Appearance: Bright orange body with a fluffy off-white head. Little yeast particles floating around. Almost no carbonation and just a little lacing.
Taste: Reminds me of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale - this has a very floral taste. Subtle notes of rose flavoured Turkish delight. Very bitter, but well rounded and balanced. Light peppery spice to finish.
Palate: Medium body with a sticky mouthfeel. Light carbonation. Quite dry.
Overall: The best Italian beer I’ve tasted, though that’s not saying much as I’ve not tried many. A well balanced, floral beer.

18-JUN-2012, draft @George & Dragon, during "Un Mare di Birra".
Orange with lasting lacing off-white head.
Extremely bitter with grape fruit, pine, exotic fruits, and orange peel.
Very creamy for an APA. Could easily be an IPA.
