Saison con luppoli australiani e tedeschi, prevalgono i primi con i loro aromi fruttati. Sul finale lo speziato dei lieviti Saison la rendono un po’ troppo gentile per essere targata Brewfist... la birra che non ti apsetti!

Bottle. Golden, cloudy, average and mostly diminishing head. Moderate, malty - faintly wheaty and lightly sweetish aroma, faint fruitiness, light spiciness (coriander and light pepper), light citrus hoppyness. Body is light to medium, malty - lightly wheaty and lightly sweetish flavor, faint fruitiness, light spiciness and citrus hoppyness. Finish is short to average, malty - lightly wheaty and dryish, light sharp spiciness with light herbal - citrus hoppyness. Bit thin saison with sharp spiciness- could use more fruitiness. Lacks character.

Bottle. Semi cloudy yellow/orange with a frothy white head. Fruity sweetness, bread, a bit tropical, white pepper, grassy bitterness, and spicey yeast. Pretty good, quite refreshing actually.

Bosskie (398) - NETHERLANDS - JUN 1, 2014
Nice dark golden colour, opaque with a beautiful head and gentle carbonation. Smell is peachy yeasty breadiness with subtle leather and spices, white pepper and subtle grapefruit citricness. Mouth is full refreshing and fizzy, with a salty feel and slightly dry finish. Peels and citric. Nice beer with a Belgian character and extra hopiness, but definitely not something I would call a saison.

Very hazy, mega lively, head fell down into a nice mesa. Sweet nose with lots of phenols. Sweet, then some strange tartness kicks in late. Florals, dusty yeast.

Bottle at Craft Beer Cellar. No mention of Freigeist anywhere on the label. I think this is a new entry. Pours orange gold with white head. Nose/taste of citrus, lemongrass, orange zest, tangerine, tropical fruit, light spicy yeast, touch of malt, peppercorn and more citrus. Medium body. Slightly dry tangy finish.

33 cl bottle.
Pours hazy golden color with a large white head. Nice fruity aroma, apricot, some orange, grassy hops, lemon zest and yeast. Flavor is also a bit yeasty, apricot, orange, spicy notes, grapes, gooseberries and some hops. Somewhat sour fruity palate, slightly too stuffy but nothing too serious. Easy to drink and tasty.

Hermod (3162) - Vantaa, FINLAND - MAY 10, 2014
33cl bottle. BB 30.12.14. Murky, orange color, thick white head. Citrusy fruity, yeasty, mild spicy aroma. Flavor has pineapples, yeast, hops. Galaxy quite nicely recognizable. Alcohol lurking in the back, but quite well hidden. Quite enjoyable. Pairs well with Amon Amarth.
