Imperial IPA estremamente luppolata. La combinazione di luppoli americani e oceanici nasconde perfettamente il grado alcolico. Quando ti accorgerai che sarà 9,5% sarà ormai... 2Late!

Bottle from Drink in Fulham. Pours cloudy amber/dark orange with a thick white head that fades moderately quickly. Aroma is tropical fruit, like five alive. Pine, malt, Citrus, peach, resin and grapefruit. Flavor is moderately bitter with a long finish. Full bodied and quite alcoholic.

Draught at La Fine Mousse, 4/25/15
Deep amber with some light aburn highlights and an off-white head that is medium-sized and recedes to cover. Medium-high clarity.
Ruby red grapefruit and lots of caramel and sweet cream notes in the nose show quite a bit more malt than expected. Thought the 120 would be in here just for color, but it adds lots of sweetness and breadiness. Moderate acidity, some floral notes but mostly just citrics and light pine on the finish. Alcohol well-masked underneath all this maltiness.
Flavor is just too much maltiness. Heavy caramel, doughy bread and not enough bitterness to balance. Plentiful grapefruit, watermelon and orange rind hop notes are flavorful and interesting, but just don’t do enough to combat this malt. Furthermore, they seem a bit faded, as if the keg is a bit older. Medium-full to full bodied. Nicely masking the alcohol and no flaws, but just very fatiguing on account of the massive body.

Jarastlad (42) - Arlon, BELGIUM - MAR 12, 2015
33 cl Bottle from Miorge-Mihoublon, Arlon, Belgium. The aroma is quite classic : citrus notes more focused on oranges. Pours a nice clear orange. Very little carbonation. Taste is intense and focuses on citrus and fruit followed by some malty caramel notes. Bitterness is not overly present but the finish is still dry and to a certain point, quenching. Beer was a bit old, which could be the reason for the "lack" of bitterness. Pretty good beer !

ogniskowicz (338) - POLAND - MAR 9, 2015
Aromat: mango, cytrusy (zwłaszcza grejpfrut), lekki karmel Smak: świetna podbudowa słodowa, spora, ale szalenie przyjemna owocowa goryczka, piwo dość nisko wysycone, bardzo pijalne. Alkohol totalnie ukryty.

Vells (899) - Riga, LATVIA - FEB 1, 2015
Intense malty background, caramel, citrusy hops, lemon, grapefruit dominating, bit pine. Moderate to high sweetness for DIPA finishes with moderate bittersweetness. Enjoyable well balanced brew but nothing outstanding.
